Process
I used a laser cutter to create multiple templates of 1/4" acrylic to mold the silicone gaskets. I discovered a way to stack and mold multiple templates at once to help speed up the process.
Housewares Project
Our design brief was to identify existing problems in the house and to develop a unique problem statement. Next I conducted patent and market research and went through several phases of concept ideation. After honing in my research, and design direction I was able to come up with a final product and model.
